ASUS launches the next motherboard in their top-end “Republic Of Gamers” series, the Commando. Does this flagship board really achieve better overclocks? What then of the other bells and whistles ASUS has thrown in? Read on to find out…

Introduction
The ASUS Commando motherboard is the 3rd in ASUS’ flagship “Republic Of Gamers” line of motherboards. US$ 260. Is this board really deserving of the price tag, or is this just another pile of marketing bloat with nothing behind it?
Today we have the opportunity of testing the ASUS Commando Motherboard, and we will be benchmarking and overclocking what is probably one of the priciest motherboards around.
