Positioned above the 2.8-inch QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) LCD display is the earpiece speaker and front camera lens. There is a specific Hold button at the top of the Samsung SGH-F480. It can be used to place callers on hold. You can also use it to lock the touch screen and keys to prevent any unwanted phone operations by pressing and holding the key.

The camera shutter button and multi-function jack are on the right side of the phone. The multi-function jack is proprietary and provides audio for headphones, battery charging and USB connectivity to a computer. Samsung made sure to include the necessary cabling for charging, PC connectivity and a pair of headphones with the proper jack

Installation of the battery and SIM card is extremely easy compared to other phones as the battery cover slides on and off without a fuss. The SGH-F480 uses a 3.7V Lithium-Ion battery but take note you need to insert the SIM card first.
