Ever been to a place and unsure where to find, say an ATM machine or a restaurant nearby? Well, not if you have this application on your Android phone.
ShowNearby is a local location-based application that provides users with information in the vicinity including ATM machines, bus stops, carparks, hotels as well as restaurants.
It doesn’t just tell you what is available but also the direction (denoted by the red triangle) and approximately how far (in metres) the restaurant, bus stop or ATM is from where you are. In order for this app to work more accurately, you will need to enable GPS satellite and have an active Internet connection – preferrably 3G data plan than Wireless@SG.
For those driving on the road, you can check where are the carparks near your vicinity. And when you select the carpark, the app will even tell you the rates. Neat.
