Sharkoon has expanded their Silent Eagle case fan series with the addition of a 140mm model, the Silent Eagle 800. Producing the same amount of air flow at a lower rotational speed (and hence lower noise level) as compared to a smaller 120mm, the Silent Eagle 800 is targeted at users building silent PC systems.
The Silent Eagle case fans are characterized by their special fan blades. These fan blades have rounded edges, while the blades’ surface texture is similar to that of a golf ball with the numerous small dimples. These design features help to provide better than average air flow.
The 162-gram 140mm Silent Eagle 800 uses a rugged metal bearing and has a rotational speed of 800rpm, moving 93.85m³/h of air (translates to approximately 55 CFM) at a measured noise level of 12.4dB(A).
Both conventional fan screws and rubber bolts are included in the package.
Available now, the Sharkoon Silent Eagle 800 is retailing for 12.99 EUR.
