160GB and 320GB Sony PlayStation 3 to reach Singapore on 29 July 2010


While Microsoft have a slimmer Xbox 360 with larger hard disks, Sony isn’t backing down either. The Japanese company has announced the new Sony PlayStation 3 with higher capacity hard disks – 160GB and 320GB – are scheduled to be in Singapore on 29 July.

Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (SCEH) has announced new models for PlayStation3 (PS3) with higher storage capacity 160GB and 320GB Hard Disk Drive (HDD). The new PS3 system will become available in stores from 29 July 2010 in Singapore at a suggested retail price of S$499 and S$529 respectively.

The 160GB PS3 system will come in two colors – Charcoal Black (CECH-2506A) and Classic White (CECH-2506ALW). The 320GB PS3 system will be in the most popular color Charcoal Black (CECH-2506B).
