$189,000 GRID 2: Mono Edition is the most expensive video game ever, comes with a custom-made supercar and free PlayStation 3
Yes, you read that correctly. Codemasters has announced a $189,000 version of their upcoming racing game GRID 2. It comes with all sorts of extras including a supercar.
Costing £125,000 (or $189,000), GRID 2: Mono Edition is expensive enough to have be included in the next edition of Guiness Book of World Records. At this price, you wouldn't be wrong to expect some sweet extras.
Suffice to say, you won't be disappointed!
For starters, you get a £125,000 BAC Mono supercar with a custom GRID 2 paintjob. The Mono is powered by a 2.3 liter, 285bhp four cylinder engine which, when combined with its lightweight, aerodynamic body, allow it to go from 0-62mph in just 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 170 mph (274 km/h).

In addition to that, you will get to tour the BAC factory in the UK where you can further customize your Mono supercar, race suit, boots, gloves and helmet. A free PlayStation 3 is also included.
We have independently confirmed that a copy of GRID 2 with a special box cover is indeed part of the entire deal.
There is only one unit of GRID 2: Mono Edition available, so you'd better be quick to order one if you've got the cash! It can be pre-ordered from GAME UK here.
For less privileged folks who can only afford to pay $59 for GRID 2: the game launching in the US and Europe on 28th May and 31st May respectively for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
