Asus to unveil Memo Pad 7 HD at Computex 2013


Asus is preparing an update to their Memo Pad 7, which will include some better specs including a 720p HD display. The tablet is reported to be unveiled at Computex 2013.

Asus is no stranger to releasing many variations of their products, and it’s no secret that they have a couple of tablets for both Android and Windows currently in the works. Today, Yugatech is reporting that next week at Computex 2013, they expect Asus to unveil the Memo Pad 7 HD, which is an updated version of of the 7-inch Android tablet that is already well known for being similar to the Nexus 7 and sold at a very reasonable price.


What can you expect in this update? Yugatech reports the following specs:

  • 7-inch 720p display
  • 1.6 GHz quad-core processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 16GB Storage
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n support
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

They also claim that it will come in multiple colors that include black, white, pink, blue, and yellow. As for pricing and available, the estimated cost for the device is 149 in Europe and $169 in the U.S.. This would actually be slightly more expensive than the previous model which launched at $149 in America, but perhaps that’s just the price of including an HD display.
