New rumors say that a 5.99-inch Galaxy Note 3 variant with a flexible AMOLED display is headed our way.
The rumors surrounding Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 3 phablet don’t seem to stop coming, and it’s a different rumor each time. With the previous evleaks tweet stating that the Galaxy Note 3 will come with a 5.7-inch display, a new rumor says that the Note 3 will pack a 5.99-inch flexible AMOLED panel instead. What’s fact and what’s fart?
If you think for a little while, you’ll realize that all the rumors related to the Note 3 might be true, and I mean all of them. How’s that? Simple! The rumors come from insider sources who have seen the different variants of Note 3. My own sources say that Samsung had been working on as many as three different variants of the Galaxy Note 3, trying to decide which one to give a green light to. With mass production slated for August (according to earlier reports), Samsung still has a month’s time to decide which direction to go. The three variants, from what I’ve gathered, are:
- 5.99-inch Super AMOLED display
- 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display
- 3. 5.99-inch flexible AMOLED display
There you go! That list single-handedly explains all the different rumors pertaining to the Galaxy Note 3. While I honestly have no clue as to which version Samsung will finally choose to launch, I would personally pick the 5.7-inch Note 3, and then the 5.99-inch flexible display bearing Note phablet as a separate model later on (hey, it’s not like Samsung doesn’t release multiple models under the same brand, just). Perhaps with LG’s recent announcement of an upcoming device with their own flexible display, Samsung decided to give the flexible display bearing Note device another shot. Hey! No complaints from my side Sammy. Full steam ahead!
