AMD To Cut HD 3650 & 3850 Prices In Early March

Reported by on Wednesday, February 27 2008 8:10 am

AMD plans to cut the prices of the Radeon HD 3650 and HD 3850 in early March by as much as 20%. The reduction is to better position their products against the GeForce 9600 GT. There will be some price cut on the HD 3870 as well but not too substantial. Also the HD 3870 X2 will come along with the new PLX chip that supports PCI Express 2.0 somewhere in April. We can expect healthy inventory of the HD 3000 series in the market by March.
