Intel GM47 Mobile Chipset Delivers 2X Graphics Performance

Intel is preparing a performance IGP chipset for Montevina mobile platform next quarter supporting the new 45nm Intel Core Duo T9000, P9000 and P8000 series. Intel GM47 Express chipset will be the highest end mobile part clocking at 640MHz for the integrated graphics while the GM45 Express chipset clocks in at 533MHz. Both chipsets are based on the Intel GMA X4500HD graphics that enhances HD experience with native HD-DVD and Blu-Ray support. Intel GM47 chipset delivers up to 2X the performance in 3DMark over the GM965 chipset and has broader DX10 game compatibility and support.
