VR-Zone took a sneak peek at the upcoming Radeon HD 4830 card from MSI. We have already told you that this card has 640 SPs and run on 256-bit memory interface. MSI Radeon HD 4830 card is clocked at 575MHz core and 1800MHz memory. This card has 8 Samsung K4J52324QH-HJ1A GDDR3 memory chips rated at 1ns totally 512MB and you would need a 6-pin PCIe power for this card. The launch date is pushed back 2 days to 23rd October and it is expected to be priced lower than US$150.

Using the Core 2 Extreme QX9650 processor, this card scored X2372 in 3DMark Vantage "Extreme" preset which is slightly better than its intended competitor, the GeForce 9800GT.
