Slashdot No doubt the ASUS P5WH is faster, having had bad luck with it, and no higher Multiplier available on the DFI 975X Infinity, it was definitely time to pay the Intel Bad Axe D975XBX Motherboard another visit!
Both Cross-Fire and SLI were ran!! Cross-Fire with Catalyst 6.6, SLI with modded 84.66 Forceware to run SLI on Intel Chipset flawlessly!
First, an easy 61K in 3D Mark 03!!

Intel Core 2 Duo X6800 @ 12 x 390FSB (1066 Strap) -> 4677MHz [-90C Cascade Cooled]
Intel D975XBX: vCore 1.7v, VDimm 2.7v, VMCH 1.85v
GSKill PC2 8500 2GBHZ 2 x 1GB @ 487MHz, CL4-4-4-5
Inno3D 7900GTX @ 995/1020MHz SLI [-80C Cascade Cooled]
SilverStone Zeus ST75ZF PSU
Next It's time to use the best guys for the job in 3D Mark 05. I put in my ATi
PowerColor X1900XT Cross-Fire water-cooled setup!!
25649 3D Mark 05!!
Intel Core 2 Duo X6800 @ 12 x 397FSB (1066 Strap) -> 4768MHz [-90C Cascade Cooled]
Intel D975XBX: vCore 1.7v, VDimm 2.7v, VMCH 1.85v
GSKill PC2 8500 2GBHZ 2 x 1GB @ 497MHz, CL4-4-4-5
PowerColor ATi X1900XT Cross-Fire @ 800/895MHz [-20C Waterchilled]
SilverStone Zeus ST75ZF PSU
Not stopping here, modern-day 3D Mark 06 gets another jack! Putting back in SLI....
16K shatters!
Intel Core 2 Duo X6800 @ 12 x 396FSB (1066 Strap) -> 4754MHz [-90C Cascade Cooled]
Intel D975XBX: vCore 1.7v, VDimm 2.7v, VMCH 1.85v
GSKill PC2 8500 2GBHZ 2 x 1GB @ 496MHz, CL4-4-4-5
Inno3D 7900GTX @ 990/1004MHz SLI [-80C Cascade Cooled]
SilverStone Zeus ST75ZF PSU
Been so long since I ran 3D Mark 01. But since I already did 3 might as well finish the last one! Did not bother to cherry pick a nice Car Low Test and all...
Grinding the Axe with
Intel Core 2 Duo X6800 @ 12 x 399FSB (1066 Strap) -> 4782MHz [-90C Cascade Cooled]
Intel D975XBX: vCore 1.7v, VDimm 2.7v, VMCH 1.85v
GSKill PC2 8500 2GBHZ 2 x 1GB @ 499MHz, CL4-4-4-5
Inno3D 7900GTX @ 1022/1028MHz SLI [-80C Cascade Cooled]
SilverStone Zeus ST75ZF PSU
81K in 3D Mark 01 wasn't too tough for this superhero of a CPU!
