With everything getting smaller and sleeker, Freecom has outdone other competitors by releasing the world's smallest external hard drive. Will this small device achieve big things? Let's see how well it fares.

Mobile Freedom Comes Freecom

Portable hard drives over the years have gradually become part of our everyday life. As our appetite for storage grows, our requirements for the ease of offline transferring of large amounts of data increases. Traditional 3.5-inch hard drives are bulky and heavy, and require external power; while 2.5-inch hard drives on the other hand are significantly smaller and lighter, and powers up using the same USB connection to transfer data.

Freecom Technologies unveiled their take on the 2.5-inch hard drive, aiming to make the world's smallest 2.5-inch external hard drive. Presented to us today, is the Freecom Mobile Drive XXS.
