Over at COMPUTEX, A-DATA has a rather interesting line-up of SSDs based on SandForce controllers from top to bottom. For the performance category, they have the S511 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s in capacities of 60/120/240/480GB utilizing the SandForce SF-2200 controller and Intel 25nm Compute NAND with 550/520MB read/write speeds. What is more interesting is that their mSATA and unique form factors that are used in tablets and super slim notebooks are also using SandForce based controllers.

What is more interesting is that their mSATA and unique form factors that are used in tablets and super slim notebooks are also using SandForce based controllers.

First we have the A-DATA XM13 which is a mSATA SSD using the SandForce SF-2141 SATA 3Gbps controller with a sequential reads/writes of 250MB/s and comes with in capacities of 30GB and 60GB. According to A-DATA, these mSATA SSDs will have a price advantage over the Intel 20GB Larson Creek and will be available by end of June. Next, we have the A-DATA XM11 SSD which is extremely slim and low profile which is suitable for super slim notebooks like the ASUS new UX-series and even tablets. It uses the SandForce 2281 SATA 6Gbps controller that is able to reach 500MB/s reads/writes speed. The mass production will take place somewhere in Q3.
