We've already had a preview of Acer's upcoming CloudMobile and now the company has unveiled a second handset that will be announced in more detail at the MWC next week. This time around we're looking at a budget friendly model called the Liquid Glow, one of the first budget models with Android 4.0.

Acer wasn't very forthcoming with specifications, simply stating that the handset will have a 3.7-inch screen, a 5Megapixel camera, NFC and a new soft-touch casing available in pink, white and black. Luckily the core specifications didn't stay secret for long, as Pocket-Lint managed to dig up more details on the handset ahead of the MWC.

As such we know that we're looking at a Qualcomm MSM7227A SoC clocked at 1GHz, a WVGA display (800×480 pixels), 1GB of storage memory and 512MB of RAM. The SoC choice is interesting as Acer went for the fastest SKU available for the MSM7227A which is based on ARM's Cortex-A5 core. It's got Adreno 200 graphics and uses basic LPDDR memory, so don't expect blistering performance, but if Acer has priced the Liquid Glow right, this should be a pretty decent handset for the money. Acer is expecting the Liquid Glow to hit retail sometime in the early summer.
