Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook goes on retail in Hong Kong

Acer has officially launched their Ultrabook, the Aspire S3, in Hong Kong. Weighing less than 1.4kg, the Aspire S3 measures just 13mm thin and boasts seven hours of battery life. With Acer Green Instant On technology, the system can wake up from sleep mode in just 1.5 seconds.

According to our Chinese counterparts, the Acer Aspire S3 is based on the new Intel Ultrabook platform, equipped with Intel Core i3 / i5 / i7 processor; Acer Green Instant On technology which allows the system to wake up from sleep mode in just 1.5 seconds; and quick networking Instant Connect feature that provides connection speeds of up to 2.5 seconds. The Ultrabook uses the next generation lightweight, long-lasting Lithium-ion battery which boasts battery life of up to seven hours on normal usage. With standby and power savings, it claims to be able to last up to 50 days.

So you may be wondering how much is the Acer Aspire S3? Well, it is retailing in Hong Kong for HK$6,998 (approximately US$898) with one year locan and International warranty (first International travel warranty).
