Acer Japan has launched its newest ECO LCD (S243HLbmii), sporting a nice slim design at 14.5mm thin. This is a 24 inch model targeted at reducing power consumption.

Using W-LED technology, power consumption has been reduced up to 63%, specs-wise, it offers a dynamic contrast ratio up to 8,000,000:1 (1000:1 by default). Native screen resolution is 1920 x 1080, at a response time of 2 ms (GTG). It has 2 inbuilt 1W speakers hidden in the frame as well.

Connectivity-wise includes D-Sub, and two HDMI connectors.
