Lets see what Acer’s netbooks have to offer.
Acer’s lineup of “Pinetrail” netbooks were revealed some time ago but was officially announced by Acer just recently.
The new netbooks sport a lovely design on its exterior while offering mobile users a decent wage of performance on the go.
If you have yet to figure out what “Pine trail” is, it is a codename for Intel’s new Atom platform. The new lineup of Acer netbooks – AO532h is powered by Atom N450 processor at 1.66Ghz, 1GB of RAM, 160GB Hard Disk drive and GMA 3150 integrated graphics.
Weighing about 1.25kg and about 1 inch thick, this is a 10.1 inch model running at 1024×600 resolution on a LED backlit display. All this powered by either one of two (6-cell) batteries – 4400 mAh battery enabling up to 8
hours of operation, and 5600 mAh pack going up to 10 hours.
Pre-loaded with Windows 7 starter, the netbook also comes with its standard set of features – webcam, multi card reader, multi gesture touchpad, 10/100 LAN and Wireless.
The price ? USD300.
