Overclocking experts from all around the world converge in Hong Kong and battle it out for the Advanced Overclocking Champion Crown. VR-Zone brings you the full report of the AOCC 2008.
The aim of Day 2 is to have fun and try to break some world records. The above is a list of world records where the overclockers will try to break here in AOCC. Very tough indeed but worth a try.
Team Sweden team up with Finland and Italy to try to break the world record for 3DMark Vantage using 3-way SLI GTX 280 on ASUS Striker II Extreme setup.
Their 3-way SLI rig comprised on QX9770 @ 5.6GHz, 3-way SLI GTX 280 @ 950/2000/1260MHz, Striker II Extreme, Kingston HyperX DDR3-1800 memories, Western Digital VelociRaptor and 2 x FSP Everest Pro 1200W.

Next we have Team Japan trying to break the world records for PiFast and SuperPI.
Their rig comprised of a E8500 running at 6.3GHz+, Rampage Extreme board, Kingston HyperX DDR3-1800 memories, Western Digital VelociRaptor and FSP Everest Pro 1200W. Their SuperPI 1M score stood at 7.6s and PiFast score stood at 15.7s, not too shabby for a first try on this new board.
Team Korea too is going for the SuperPI and PiFast world records.
Their rig comprised of a E8500 running at 6GHz, P5Q3-Deluxe board, Kingston HyperX DDR3-1800 memories, Western Digital VelociRaptor and FSP Everest Pro 1200W. Their SuperPI 1M score stood at 7.75s and PiFast score stood at 15.9s.
