AGEIA PPU Plans Revealed

information revealed. In 2007 there will be several titles using the PPU. The
ones to watch for and which use physics in a very compelling way in the
immediate future are Cellfactor: Revolution and Warmonger: Operation Downtown
Destruction. AGEIA plans to support 2 or more cards working in parallel. PPU is
capable of GPGPU calculations and has software under developments. AGEIA has
engaged in talks with AMD, NVIDIA, Intel and other partners to integrate PPU on
other devices and one of such is mobile devices. AGEIA envisions a spectrum of
PhysX offerings as the game developers become more sophisticated in the use of
physics in games.
