French mobile vendor Alcatel is known for its budget and mid-range mobiles, and it looks like the manufacturer is set to launch two new mobiles in this series called the One Touch Scribe Pro and One Touch Idol Mini.
From the image, tweeted by Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin, we can discern the features the One Touch Scribe Pro will come with. The mobile will be available for $300, and will come with a 6-inch screen, most likely a 720p variant and not a full-HD one considering the price the device is going for. Also included is a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 13 megapixel camera, dual-SIM facility, Dolby Digital Plus, Wi-Fi Display and a 3,400 mAh battery. The mobile will likely come bundled with a stylus and an LED flip cover through which you can see the time.
The One Touch Scribe Pro will launch in Hong Kong initially, with no work on global availability yet. Another device that can be seen from the image is the One Touch Idol Mini, which will likely be the smaller variant of the One Touch Idol that was launched this January. The Mini will feature a 4.3-inch IPS screen along with a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU.
Alcatel will be exhibiting at this year’s IFA next month, so we should have more information on these devices then.
