Amazon offering AT&T’s Nokia Lumia 1520 for $50 on contract

Amazon is selling the Nokia Lumia 1520 on AT&T for $49.99 on a two-year contract, offering more than a 50 percent discount on the usual price of $199.99.

The offer is available for new AT&T customers for all four colors of the Lumia 1520. Existing AT&T subscribers looking to upgrade will have to shell out $99.99, which is still a good deal for a powerful device that is also the first Windows Phone phablet. Amazon doesn’t say when the deal ends, but if we were to hazard a guess, the price will probably go back up sometime in the first week of January.

The Lumia 1520 sports a 6-inch 1080p display, 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage that’s expandable via microSD cards, a 3,400 mAh battery and wireless charging, the latest version of Windows Phone 8 and Nokia’s Lumia Black software, and a 20-megapixel PureView camera on the back. It’s one of the best Windows Phone devices out in the market today for those who want a large gigantic screen, making Amazon’s deal one that shouldn’t be missed.
