AMD reveals A-Series Mobile Lineup

Reported by on Monday, June 13 2011 6:30 pm

AMD's Italy website has jumped the gun and published a list of upcoming A-Series APUs for mobile products. There are no surprises and the line-up is largely identical to the listing leaked in May. Still, this is the closest we are going to get to a confirmation.

AMD reveals A-Series Mobile Lineup

Several years in the making, AMD's mainstream Fusion platform is finally set to release tomorrow, 14th June, with notebooks and mobile products based on the Sabine platform hitting stores.

While the A-Series Mobile line-up has been covered before, as a reminder, the A-Series consists of dual and quad core CPUs combined with GPUs upto 400 SP, within a combined TDP range of 35W-45W. The top part, A8-3530MX is clocked at 1.9 GHz with a Turbo Core boost of 2.6 GHz. Interestingly, AMD chooses to market the Turbo speed before the base clock, hence the A8-3530MX is listed as 2.6 GHz / 1.9 GHz.

Complete details on AMD's 2011 Notebook Lineup is available at AMD Italy. Of course, we can expect similar pages to appear on all AMD websites by tomorrow. Mainstream Fusion is finally here!
