Good news to all casual gamers. The popular Angry Birds game which used to be available only smartphones and tablets, is now on Windows laptops and netbooks too. Just go to Intel AppUp center and purchase your copy.

Angry Birds comes to Windows laptops and netbooks

Angry Birds, the birds-versus-pigs game that was made popular on smartphones and tablet devices, is now available for netbooks and laptops, running Windows 7 or Windows XP operating systems. All you need to do is download and install the Intel AppUp center for netbooks and laptops. (Well, it doesn't install on Windows Vista, but it installs fine on desktop PCs with Windows 7).

The game costs US$9.99 to download, but for a limited time only, it will be available at the special promotional price of US$4.99 in the Intel AppUp center. According to Rovio Mobile, Angry Birds will include 195 levels, with free updates and additional levels to the game in future. On top of that, there will also be unique enhancements not found in the mobile version, free of charge.

No news as to whether the game will be available on Macbooks or Windows Phone 7.
