Good news for Android users! The popular game, Angry Birds, which was recently announced as a beta version on the Google mobile platform, is now available as a full version. No, we aren't talking about the US$0.99 price you have to pay; the full version of Angry Birds is available free.

Angry Birds: Full Version Is Free For Android Users

The popular game, Angry Birds, which was initially available on iPhone, is also available on Nokia Ovi store, Palm App Catalog and even Google Android market. It recently started as a beta for the Google mobile platform, but it seems that the game developer Rovio has made it a full version for Android, and free too.

Not long ago, Rovio has expressed their anger at Microsoft for putting the Angry Birds icon on their site without prior permission. According to the game company, it "has not committed to doing a Windows Phone 7 version", despite the launch of the Microsoft mobile operating system earlier Tuesday.

Well, whether or not providing full version for free to Android is Rovio's way to get back at Microsoft is anyone's guess. Then again, the free full version of Angry Birds on Android is ad-supported, although you don't have to whip out your wallet and pay US$0.99 like your friends who are using iPhones or Nokia. Which case in mind, also does give you some bragging rights.
