Antec, one of the global leaders in computer hardware and accessories, has announced a new addition to its wide list of award winning cases — the Antec 100. The newest gaming chassis from Antec designed to cater to the PC gamers and enthusiasts market by offering substantial cooling and performance without breaking the bank.
In order to cater to the budget DIY computer and gaming market, Antec has released the Antec 100, which promises to provide an array of great features at an affordable price.

On the top of the chassis, you can find 4 USB 2.0 ports, as well as
audio in/out. There is also an additional storage tray mounted right on
top of the case which provides added convenience for the end user. It
would be perfect for keeping commonly used PC items such as USB
Thumbdrives. There is also a top mounted 140mm Antec TwoCool Fan right behind the storage tray.
When it comes to computer enthusiasts and hardcore PC gamers, one of the main things they are looking for in a case is cooling capabilities. In order to answer the needs of this community, besides the top mounted 140mm TwoCool fan, you can also find a rear 120mm TwoCool fan which has a two-speed switch control, which allows for easy control of fan speed. On top of this, there is also an option to place two more 120mm intake fans in the front of the chassis, as well as a side 120mm fan.
The Antec 100 features a sleek black interior, cable routing compartments and ties for ease of keeping all the cables neat and tidy, and a CPU cutout that allows for easy installation of CPU coolers. The Power Supply is mounted at the bottom of the chassis in order to isolate heat and noise. Washable air filters in this chassis also provide the user an easy way of cleaning their case. There are a total of 10 drive bays — 6 internal 3.5″ drive bays, 3 external 5.25″ drive
bays, and 1 internal bottom-mounted 2.5″ drive bay. Antec has also added a case lock slot for integrated anti-theft protection, which is a feature only available to the Antec 100.
The Power Supply is mounted at the bottom of the chassis in order to isolate heat and noise. There are 8 Expansion Slots, which provides the user lots of expansion options in terms of multiple video cards, or other PCI and PCI-E cards.
