Apacer introduced its newest line of USB 3.0 flash drives built in the slider form-factor, the AH354. The drives offer mainstream performance, and a "U-ring" structure on one end of the sliding arm, which lets you accessorise it.

The USB connector of the Apacer AH354 retracts into the drive's main body. As it retracts, the other end of the sliding arm pops out, which reveals a "U-ring," which is a structure with holes for a lanyard and a key-chain.

Apacer isn't specific about the performance numbers of the AH354, but mentioned that when connected to a USB 3.0 host, the drive offers up to 80 MB/s reads, and when connected to a USB 2.0 host, it offers up to 34 MB/s reads. The drive will be available in capacities of 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB.

Measuring 65.7 mm x 21 mm x 8.7 mm (L x W x H), and weighing 9 g, the Apacer AH354 is designed to handle operating temperatures as high as 60°C. It comes with installers for ACE compression software. Apacer did not release pricing information.
