San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Dallas, and Washington, D.C. are bustling metropolises in which Apple products dominate.  The launch of the Galaxy line narrowed the gap somewhat, but the brand of choice remains vastly in the hands of Apple.

In some instances, the gap between the preferred brand seems to widen after the launch of the Galaxy line.

The documents in the study were among the evidences in the Apple vs. Samsung case.  Apple is seeking USD $2.5 billion in damages from Samsung, claiming that the South Korean firm infringed Apple’s phones and tablets patents. 

Samsung is saying that it doesn’t violate any Apple patents, and is asking the court to rule the patents as invalid.  Furthering its defense, Samsung is countersuing Apple for infringing Samsung’s patents.

Judge Lucy Koh, the judge overseeing the case, has ruled that evidence brought forth by Apple has given the Cupertino firm enough grounds to continue on with the case. 

Samsung is gearing up to make the argument that various iPhone patents does not represent new technology, and that Apple itself stole the innovations of other companies.
