Apple's upcoming next-generation iPad is expected to be announced later this month and shipped out to consumers' hands by April. But according to a note, the iPad may be delayed from April to June.

As reported by Bloomberg, they cited a research note by Yuanta Securities Co. with the claims of the much-anticipated iPad 2 meeting production issues and thus, a delay in shipment.

The report by Vincent Chen and Alison Chen, analysts at Yuanta, cited ?production bottlenecks? at Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. after Apple made design changes before the Lunar New year.

With the delay in release of the next iPad, this might just give a small gap of oppurtunity for the Andriod 3.0 tablets, which a number are to be launced in April and May.
