Similar to how users can purchase and download their music and videos from the iTunes store, Apple may be planning such a store for the iPad; but in the form of a wide range of electronic newspapers content for the users.

Apple Plans iTunes Store for Newspapers

Apple may be planning to launch a new service for the iPad, and its targeting users who want to read electronics newspapers. To date, the company already launched their iTunes store for music and videos and iBooks for ebooks, and it with the new store for electronics newspapers, this means you can choose from a wide variety of newspapers to download and read.

Special iPad versions of some newspapers are already available though the application will provide more convenience instead of having to switch between different applications. The move could boost the appeal of the iPad device, but it is likely the service will only be available in US initially.
