The company is going to conduct a conference call to discuss its first fiscal quarter results.
It remains to be seen if Apple’s revenue and net profit meets the market’s expectations. A lot of rumors have circulated in the past few months that iPhone 5C sales have been poor, if that really is the case, the flop would reflect on the company’s fiscal results. It is expected to report revenue of $55-$58 billion with gross margin between 36.5-37.5 percent. Even meeting the low end of this guidance will result in one of the strongest quarters for Apple.
The Apple Q1, 2014 fiscal results also mark the first quarter of availability of iPad Air and Retina iPad mini, and the company just might take about surge in iPhone sales that was reported in the holiday season. During fiscal 2013, Apple reported record sales of its mobile devices, moving over 150 million iPhones and more than 71 million iPads around the globe. The company normally doesn’t drop too many hints about future products, so its best to expect that Apple will take about the rumored iPhone 6 or iPad Pro during the conference call.
The conference call will take place at 2:00 p.m. Pacific and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, January 27th. Apple is going to provide a link to the audio webcast later.
