ASUS confirms Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade on Eee Pad family

With the announcement of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Taiwanese company ASUS has also confirmed that the new mobile operating system would be available on their line of Eee Pad family. However, no exact dates have been released yet.

Google had announced the latest update for the Android mobile operating system, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which claims to bring exciting new features and capabilities to devices. In a statement issued by ASUS, the company has confirmed that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade will be available on the Eee Pad family.

"We are delighted to confirm that we will be supporting Ice Cream Sandwich on our ASUS Eee Pad Family – our aim is to bring the latest Android updates to the Eee Pad Series.
