we've tore apart its predecessor, now we're giving you a piece of our mind on Asus' latest rendition of their world wide best selling UMPC, the Eee PC 900. Will new features like a full fledged 9 inch screen, a 1.3 MP web cam and massively increased SSD storage be enough to tempt you? Read on to find out!

Asus Eee PC 900 Review and Dissection

Asus has definitely got themselves a winner with the Eee 900, it's a fantastic refresh of the 701! Your Eee will no longer need to span for programs that needs a minimum resolution of 800x600 to run (for instance, HDTach required that resolution -_-). Other improvements like the multi-touch pad provides a larger area for navigation, an improved webcam for high resolution videos and pictures and most importantly, a huge increase in SSD space over the 4/8GB 701s.

The EeePC is finally available off the shelves with Windows XP Home preinstalled, and at the same prices as the Linux version........hey wait, did we mention that the Windows version comes with a total of 12GB of SSD storage, wheras the Linux rendition of the Eee 900 comes with 20Gb of SSD Storage? We'll leave it to the individual consumers to weigh the pros and cons of the two different versions available, and meanwhile, we'll sum up this article nicely with our usual VR Marks.
