Developed in partnership with Skype, the ASUS Eee Videophone AiGuru SV1 is the world's first Skype certified standalone videophone designed for unlimited video calling.

The Wi-Fi capable AiGuru SV1 features a large, high resolution 7-inch TFT LCD and an integrated webcam for the superb video calling quality. It is also equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker that provides clear audio quality. For privacy, you can choose to use a standard mini-jack headset and microphone.

The videophone has a user-friendly icon-based interface and intuitive button layout that makes it easy for users to make and receive Skype-to-Skype video and voice calls. It also allows users to join voice conferences and make and receive calls to and from fixed and mobile lines at affordable rates.

The ASUS Eee Videophone AiGuru SV1 is currently retailing at USD299.95 in North America from Skype's online shop (www.skype.com/shop) and will be available in retail outlets in Asia Pacific later this year. At press time, there's no news as to whether ASUS will bring in to Singapore.
