Out of the box, the ASUS GeForce GTX 660 Ti DirectCU II TOP 2GB has a 16% core overclock over regular offerings and a competent cooling solution. The VRMs design is also rather over-engineered for a 150W TDP offering, which is a still a good thing. Our main concern is its close proximity to GTX 670 prices (which will perform better in higher resolutions and detail settings) and ~$50-$100 price premium over other competitors offerings of the same, which may deter value-conscious buyers. ASUS also sells DirectCU II SKUs with more modest clocks and price, and we wouldn't be too surprised if they can perform and overclock in the same ballpark as the card that we have reviewed here.
