ASUS launches Eee Pad Slider in Singapore

Today, ASUS Singapore has officially announced the launch of the Eee Pad Slider Android tablet that features a slide-out keyboard. The tablet will be selling at the upcoming COMEX Show 2011, happening on 1 to 4 September at Suntec City Convention Centre.

Building on the popular ASUS Eee Pad Transformer, the company today announced the launch of the Eee Pad Slider in Singapore. Powered by Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor, the Android tablet offers various features including 10.1-inch IPS capacitive display with 178-degree viewing angle, 1GB LPDDR2 (667MHz), 16GB eMMC Flash, micro SD card slot, USB port and mini HDMI connector. Available in pearl white or metallic brown, the Eee Pad Slider features a slide-out keyboard and runs the new Google Android 3.1 operating system (and upgradeable to Android 3.2).

Pricing details isn't available at press time, though the Eee Pad Slider is said to be available at the upcoming COMEX 2011 show.
