VR-Zone brings you a preview of the Asus P5N32-SLI Deluxe mainboard, an Intel Nforce 4 mainboard that consist of the Original Intel Nforce 4 C19 SPP, and an addition of the Nforce 4 SLI CK804 MCP, delivering up to 40 lanes of PCI-Express goodness. Let’s take a look at the features right now.

Asus is very much the leader in terms of computer mainboards, and always has been the first to come up with the latest technology. The Asus P5N32-SLI  Deluxe is one of the first mainboards dished out that comes with 40 lanes of PCI-Express lanes, thanks to the additional Intel Nforce 4 CK804 MCP that will provide an additional 20 lanes of PCI-Expess goodness.

A brief comparison of the benefits of the additional CK804 MCP

The P5N32-SLI Deluxe features quite a bit of innovation courtesy of the efforts from the Engineers toiling in Asus’s Laboratories. Made to compliment Asus’s latest tag-line, "AiLife: lifestyle to personal computing", The P5N32-SLI Deluxe features heatpipes cooling for both chipsets, meaning there isn’t a single mechanical part within the mainboard. Apart from that, Asus has also effectively ported over their Stack Cool 2 Technology, which features an additional layer on the other side of the mainboard that helps components like the FETs(Field Effect Transistors) and the capacitors etc.

In addition, the Asus P5N32-SLI Deluxe also comes with an 8 phase power design, which will significantly sooth input/output current ripples as compared to the traditional 4 phase power design. This will bring about slightly lower temperatures and result in better overclocks too. The nice heatsinks covering the FETs deserves a honorable mention too, We’ll discuss this in detail in the later part of this article.
