The box of the P5N32-SLI Deluxe. Unlike the other Ai-Life Intel Mainboards, the P5N32-SLI comes in a black box instead of a white box.
Asus provided a very detailed package of Manuals together with the P5N32-SLI Deluxe. You will get a motherboard User Guide, Optional Blower Fan Installation Guide, A introductory brochure on the motherboard, an Intervideo WinDVD Suite along with a Driver CD and a Case Badge.
In the package, you’ll also find find 4x SATA Cables, 2x 1-to-2 SATA power converters, a 80-wire IDE cable, a 40-wire IDE cable, a floppy cable and the I/O Plate for the mainboard.
You will also find an additional Serial Port Bracket, a gameport and 2x USB 2.0 Port Bracket and a 2 port Firewire400 bracket. 3 jumpers were also included, just in case you lose any.
The 2 blower fans included in the package. These two blower fans are meant to placed on top of the two passive aluminum heatpipe heatsinks on top of the MosFETs as in the picture below.
As mentioned on the warning label on the 2, Asus only recommends customers to use these 2 blowers in conjuction with Passive Heatsinks or Water Cooling. The main reason for stating so is because of the sucking in action of the 2 blowers, installing them together with an active heatsink might essentially cause a dead spot to form in between the heatsink fan and the blowers, causing temperatures to rise. Also, with the two blowers installed, many after-market heatsinks will no longer fit on the P5N32-SLI Deluxe. Remember, it is not essential for this two blowers to be installed! The heatsinks are already pretty effective on their own, also do keep in mind that the FETs will not get too hot due to the 8 phase power design utilised.
The flexi-SLI Bridge included in the package. Very nifty.
