The ASUS P5W DH Deluxe is definitely a motherboard targeted
at the enthusiasts. It looks good, performs well and offers quite a fair bit of
overclocking features. Like a free-lance artist roaming the streets, I took my drawing pencil, this time round to the P5W DH.

at the enthusiasts. It looks good, performs well and offers quite a fair bit of
overclocking features. Some of us, a more feverish group of enthusiasts like to
take matters into our own hands however. Like a free-lance artist roaming the streets,
I took my drawing pencil, this time round to the P5W DH.

Voltage Modding voids your warranty! All Penciling Must be
done with the PC turned off!

Memory voltage is offered up to 2.4v via the BIOS. More may
be need to maximize Memory clocks.

Locate this portion of the motherboard, right beside the last
DIMM Slot. Measure the Memory voltage from the MOSFET leg shown above. Pencil
the resistor circled to increase voltage. Original Resistance is about 575 ohms.
Go down slowly, about 20 ohms at a time, to increase voltage.

VMCH, that is the 975 Northbridge chipset voltage, goes up to
1.65v via BIOS. More may be desired when shooting for high FSBs.

Locate this portion of the motherboard, right below the DIMM
Slots. Measure VMCH from the MOSFET leg shown above. Pencil the resistor circled
to increase voltage. Original Resistance is about 444 ohms. Go down slowly,
about 20 ohms at a time, to increase voltage.
