ASUS To Launch “Eee PC Touch” In Q2

today ran a story on the 8.9" 2nd gen Eee PC lineup that includes
touchscreen panel and possible GPS support, with shipments expected to begin in
May or June. Pricing is projected to reach NT$ 15,000 (US$ 500). VR-Zone learned
that this new series of Eee PC with touch screen functions will be known as "Eee
PC touch" like Apple’s naming for iPod touch. GPS support is still under
discussion so it may or may not happen. The pricing for Europe is set at €399.
