ATI Posts Strong Sales & Profits In Q2

ATI announced a 31 percent increase in revenues and a 20 percent improvement in net income for the second quarter of fiscal 2005 as compared to the same quarter last year. Quarterly revenues grew $ 145 million to $ 608 million relative to the second quarter of fiscal 2004 as a result of strong sales in both the PC and digital consumer segments. For the third quarter, the company anticipated a slight increase in consumer business and a seasonal decline in PC business, which is expected to result in revenues of $ 560 million to $ 600 million.
