ATi R600 Water-Cooled & FireStream Editions

We heard the same thing as
INQ about a
R600 water-cooled edition. According to INQ, two companies are competing to make
the cooler. One is Aavid and the second is Denmark-based Asetek. The water
cooler has both water pump and the reservoir on the radiator so the card will
look similar to the other cards, just with bigger radiator, powered with fan,
and a reservoir. Also ATI is preparing for a GPGPU product, the FireStream/Stream
Processor board with no less than 4GB of local video memory. The design is a
variant of its upcoming top-end 12-inch design. This board will feature only one
DVI connector.
