ATi Tape Out R520 GPU Sample

Details have emerged on the products that ATI and Nvidia will launch in the near future, including ATI’s next-generation R520 series of parts. ATI is due to launch derivatives of its R400 series and FireGL product line in the near future, as well as the R520 architecture codenamed “Fudo” in the first half of next year. ATI has already taped out the first member of the R520 family at TSMC in a 90-nm process.
