ATi X1800 XT Crossfire On Dec 8th

According to sources from the card makers, ATi will be announcing X1800XT Crossfire on the 8th of December and will be the only GPU in the X1000 family that requires a Compositing Engine. The new generation X1800XT Crossfire Compositing Engine has been improved and can now support 2048×1536 @ 70Hz. Right now, X1600XT Crossfire and X1300Pro Crossfire will work with two slave cards without the need of a master card. Catalyst 8.191 will be able to work well with X1300 Pro in Crossfire while X1600XT in Crossfire can only work well with Catalyst 8.213 or later.
