ATi X800GTO Cards In Sep

ATi will extend another model for their recently launched X800GT, known as the X800GTO clocked at 400MHz and has 12 pipelines. There will be two main variants, 256MB GDDR3 version with memory clock at 490MHz and 128MB GDDR1 version with memory clock at 350MHz. All GTO cards will use excess R480 Pro, R430 Pro or R423 Pro chips. There will be AGP versions of this card available in the near future as ATI already has reference designs of the 256MB chip running on 500MHz GDDR3 based on R430 Pro on both AGP and PCIe with the Rialto bridge. Performance is between X800GT and an X800XL and expect to see the new cards in September’s retail channel.
