Reported by on Thursday, September 24 2009 4:30 pm

Atlona Technologies has launched the AT-DP200, a DVI to Mini DisplayPort converter, allowing use of the new Mini-DisplayPort monitors (e.g. Apple 24’’ Cinema Displays) on Apple systems purchased before 2009 or standard DVI video cards used on PCs. The adaptor is able to convert the signals from the DVI graphic card to the Mini DisplayPort monitors whilst maintaining the display's optimal resolution and HDCP compatibility. The new AT- DP200 will start shipping in September with a MSRP of USD$179.00 in the US. For those who do not know about the Mini DisplayPort, it’s a miniaturized version of the DisplayPort interface announced by Apple on October 14, 2008.
