AT&T Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 passes through FCC, will hit retail soon
AT&T cellular subscribers looking forward owning Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 won’t have to wait much longer as the device has hit the FCC and will be available soon.
The Mega 6.3 is one of Samsung’s latest attacks on the phablet—smartphone with display sizes that are very close to tablets—market. As the product’s name suggest, the Mega 6.3 comes with a 6.3-inch 720p display. Aside from its hefty display size, the handset (although both hands will likely be required to handle it) also sport Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 chip, 1.5GB of RAM, 8 or 16 GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear camera (1.9MP front), and Google Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean to boot.
As for AT&T’s Mega variant, you can expect it to be 4G LTE capable, along with all the same bloatwares goodies that come with most Samsung smartphones. For multitasking and productivity, expect the mega to offer a bit more than the conventional 4.5-inch handsets.
If you can’t wait for the AT&T variant, there are plenty of outlets currently offering the device for off-contract prices.
