Various sources are suggesting that Apple will begin pre-orders of the next-gen iPhone on September 12.  We’re just a day away from an official announcement from Apple, so don’t do anything you’ll regret by putting in a pre-order for the device from any shady sites or merchants.

The Tabao merchants were selling the iPhone 5 for approximately USD $1,100, while others asked for a $160 deposit.  Yikes!  If you really want an iPhone 5 (or the “new iPhone”) then have some patience and get it directly through Apple or a carrier.

It’s easy to avoid money hungry merchants and scammers, and you’ll know soon enough how much it’ll cost and where to get it from!
