Baidu is extremely popular in China with its huge web service offerings, except that you need to know Chinese to navigate and get the information you want. But what is interesting to know is that, the search engine giant has just launched a blog which isn't written in Chinese, but English instead.

Called Baidu Beat, the blog claims to provide "a peak into what Chinese Internet users are looking for online: Who they’re fascinated with, what they’re fighting about, who’s making them laugh, and what’s making them cry." With this new blog, Baidu aims to reach out to wider audiences outside of China.
