DICE Studios has announced its upcoming shooter’s system requirements on Twitter today.
Battlefield 4 will require users to run Windows Vista SP2, although Windows 8 is recommended. A 2.8 GHz AMD Athlon X2 series CPU or a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo series CPU is needed for the game to run. 4 GB of RAM is required at a minimum for the game to function, with EA recommending a RAM installation of 8 GB. The game requires 30 GB of hard disk storage.
In terms of the video card, AMD’s Radeon HD 3870 or Nvidia’s GeForce 8800 GT are required with at least 512 MB of video memory. The HD 7000 series and the GTX 600 series and above are the video cards recommended by EA for the game.
Battlefield 4 features some of the most detailed customization features to be included in a game. Players can customize their weapons in a multitude of ways, with over 240,000 combinations of accessories, camouflages and optics available for some weapons. Battlefield 4 is launching later this year on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC.
